Abstract

Bacteria with increase antibiotics resistant caused serious health treat worldwide. Regular surveillance of resistance spectra and clonal relationship of infectious bacteria are important for appropriate use of antibiotics. In this study, we investigated the antibiotic resistant pattern and clonal relationship of Enterobacter spp isolated from different clinical samples of a tertiary care hospital of Odisha, India. The results of this study indicated the presence of multidrug resistant Enterobacter spp with multiple P-lactamases production. The phylogenetic tree showed three unique clusters of ERIC within the nineteen Enterobacter spp. isolates.
