Abstract

A Simple, Accurate, precise and reproducible method has been developed for the estimation of Rebamipide in pharmaceuticalsby Zero order UV spectrophotometric method for quantitative estimation of zero order for the Rebamipide has been reported in the present work. In need to design a novel approach to analyse the drug utilizing Dimethyl formamide as a solvent was identified. Rebamipide has absorbance maxima for zero order is 332nm in this solvent system. This drug follows beer’s law in concentration range of 20-200μg/ml. The recovery studies verified the proposed method's accuracy and findings were validated in accordance with ICH recommendations. The findings were deemed to be reliable and satisfactory. As a result, the suggested method can be used to quantitatively estimate Rebamipide in ordinary analysis work.
