Abstract

Clitoria ternatea, also known as butterfly pea, is a medicinal herb that has been traditionally used in various parts of the world for its therapeutic properties. The herb contains a variety of bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, alkaloids, and phenolic acids, which have been shown to possess a range of pharmacological activities. To evaluate the pharmacological potency of Clitoria ternatea in vivo, animal models can be used. Here are some examples of the types of in vivo studies that could be conducted. It is important to note that in vivo studies require careful ethical considerations and must be conducted in compliance with animal welfare regulations.
