The essential component over/ in the earth is water for the survival of living organism. Because of the discharge of domestic garbage in the surrounding communities and many construction operations, the water quality has deteriorated significantly. According to a study conducted by the State Pollution Control Board (H.P), human activities such as the discharge of domestic trash, agricultural waste, and other developmental activities have all contributed significantly to the rise in the quality of pollutants in the river. Sample from Nadaun, a Tehsil in the District of Hamirpur (H.P), were tested for numerous criteria that indicate pollution levels in this research. Temperature, Color, Odour, Taste, Electrical conductivity, pH value, Suspended solids/ Total number filterable substance (TNF), Turbidity, and Chemical characteristics such as Alkality, BOD, COD, DO, Hardness, Total dissolved/suspended solids (TDS/TSS) were all examined.
