Noncoding RNAs in the form of ‘lncRNAs’ are revolutionizing our view of molecular biology. Unlike conventional RNAs that code for peptides and proteins, the lncRNAs seem to possess unique functionalities in the regulation of cellular processes. This paper considers the formation of the science of RNA, particularly in relation to the emergence of lncRNAs and their characterization by experts in the field. We investigate the structure of the lncRNA and its variations over a span of time, demonstrating their role in cellular homeostasis and mechanisms of various diseases. The paper also discusses the relationship between drug lncRNA in terms of the use of drugs having an effect on lncRNA, such that it alters the control of cellular proliferation and growth. Moreover, what is more important is how the lncRNAs affect the cell cycle, as they are used in various ways in medicine; for example, they can potentially be markers of cancer, or predictors of its course and foci, as well as drug targets. This research demonstrates the potential of lncRNAs for the development of new attempts at the effective treatment of patients with cancer and also explains the relationship between laboratory research and clinical practice more intuitively.
