Abstract

Information Technology (IT) can be used potentially in every sector of the economy. Information Technology has been a dynamic sector in many developed economies and India has stood out as a developing country where IT sector has grown indefinitely. Information Technology jobs in India are the first choice career for the bright brains who are innovative. Hence, IT jobs in India are also booming with increasing demand for information technology professionals. Use of Information & Technology in Pharmacy field is known as health informatics. Health informatics is a discipline at the intersection of information science, computer science, and health care. It deals with the resources, devices, and methods required optimizing the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and use of information in health and biomedicine. Health informatics tools include not only computers but also clinical guidelines, formal medical terminologies, and information and communication systems. It is applied to the areas of nursing, clinical care, dentistry, pharmacy, public health, occupational therapy, and (bio) medical research. The review mainly focus on Health informatics, Medical writing, Medical transcription, Medical coding, Knowledge process outsourcing (KPO)
