Abstract

The aim of the study was to develop orally disintegrating tablet for Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Celecoxib is used to the relief of sign and symptoms of Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. In present work an attempt has been made to prepared orally disintegrating tablet using Celecoxib by direct compression method. The tablets were prepared by using superdisintegrants such as croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, sodium starchglycolate in different ratio and evaluated for hardness, weight variation, friability, wetting time, disintegration time, drug content and In vitro dissolution study. Drug-exipient compatibility was done by FTIR and DSC studies. Formulation CCP3 prepared dy direct compression method containing 10% crospovidone showed 92.09% of drug release in 30 minute.
