A review on denture stomatitis.
The aim is to do a review on denture stomatitis.
Denture stomatitis is a common recurring problem of the denture wearers. It is a common condition where mild inflammation and redness of the oral mucous membrane occurs beneath a denture. Normally a harmless oral microbiota, Candida species are involved in this infection. In most cases elimination of denture faults, control of denture plaque and discontinuous denture wearing are sufficient treatment.
