The Knowledge and the Extent of Execution of Oral Hygiene in Undergraduate Dental Students

Abstract

To assess the knowledge of oral hygiene measures known by undergraduate dental students in various colleges in Chennai.

This study is done to assess the knowledge and the extent of execution of various oral hygiene measures knowledge known to undergraduate dental students.

There are various oral hygiene measures available for the proper maintenance of oral hygiene, such as different brushing techniques for different types of oral ailments, dental floss and various oral mouthwashes, teeth whitening strips and fluoride containing toothpaste this study checks the extent of oral hygiene measure known by undergraduate students it also assess the extent to which they Are executed by them together with the extent to which they spread their knowledge among the general populace.

The intent of this study is to assess the amount and extent of oral hygiene measures known by undergraduate students and the level of its execution and the extent to which they recommend it to other for betterment of oral hygiene.
