Awareness of Basic Dental Procedure among General Population

The aim of the study is to assess the knowledge of basic dental procedure in local population.

There are various dental procedures such as extraction, scaling, prosthesis, braces, teeth whitening, root canal treatment, gum surgery bridges and implants, and tooth filling. These procedures are done to treat patients with decayed, chipped, broken and discoloured tooth.

In dentistry, various treatment procedures are done to treat dental problems. This study is to create more awareness and knowledge among general population about basic dental procedures.

The awareness level about basic dental procedures were appropriately good among the general population.
