Based on the generalized dynamical theeories of thermo elasticity and potential functions represen ntation dispersion relations are derived for guided waves propagation iin heat conducting thermoplastic isotropic plates. The seconnd sound effect is included to eliminate the thermal wave travelling wiith infinite velocity as predicted by the diffusion heat transfe er model.
