Herbs used in skin care cosmetics: A systemic review

Abstract

Nowadays, cosmetics are become a most important part of a modern life and hence, their demand is increased significantly in the all over world. Synthetic cosmetics were used mostly but due to their side effect the herbal cosmetics are gained most popularity and acceptability. All the needed to exit in this world are provided in nature is recognized as a most valuable blessings to human beings. For beautification purpose woman as well as men used numerous cosmetics in skincare treatment. To protect the skin, cleanse it and restore tone, soothen it and prevent tanning, wrinkle and scar formation various herbal drug are used. Herbal cosmetic demand growing in worldwide market and is an invaluable gift of nature. Recently, the hybrid of cosmetic and pharmaceutical that is cosmeceutical get investigated. The various herbs are used in maintaining and enhancing human skincare and beauty such as alovera, turmeric, amla, hibiscus, neem, cucumber, rose etc. The review article aimed to provide information about skin related cosmetics and herb used mostly in it.
