As the name implies, these products are natural and typically devoid of harmful synthetic chemicals that could be detrimental to the skin. In comparison to conventional beauty products, natural cosmetics are generally considered safer for use. Cosmeceuticals, on the other hand, are hybrid products that combine cosmetic and pharmaceutical properties. They aim to enhance both the health and appearance of the skin, offering specific benefits such as acne control, anti-wrinkle effects, and sun protection. Herbal cosmetics, also known as products, are formulated using various approved cosmetic ingredients as a base, incorporating one or more herbal components to deliver specific cosmetic benefits. While herbs do not provide immediate solutions, they help align the body with natural processes. Trend new numerous cosmetic and toiletry formulations have been developed based on Indian herbs. In addition to their traditional uses, modern research has also explored the benefits of these herbs in personal care products.
