This article examines the concept of artistic migration along with the literary-theoretical description and its study in foreign and Uzbek literature. The use of metaphor, the most active and widely used type of artistic movement, has also been studied in the works of two talented Uzbek poets of the independence period, NodiraAfokova and Halima Ahmedova.
