The evaluation of self is an important factor in any study. It is used for a variety of purposes and helps an individual or an entity to reflect on its performance to gauge the strengths and work on the weaknesses. The sample of the study consists of 200 pupil-teachers (one hundred of 2010–11 Batch & one hundred of 2011–12 Batch) were selected through purposive sampling technique from the practicing college. To compare the self-evaluation skills, the answer sheets of house tests (1st & 2nd house test) were evaluated separately by student teachers and teacher educators. To compare the evaluation skills among student teachers and teacher educator's t-test was applied. The results of the study show that in the first house tests for the session 2010–11 & 2011–12 there was a significant difference between mean scores of teacher-educators and pupil-teachers in different subjects and in the second house tests for the sessions 2010–2011 & 2011–2012 it was found that there was no significant difference between the mean scores of teacher-educators & pupil teachers in different subjects. This shows that pupil teachers have learnt positively a lot to have self evaluation by acquiring the gist of evaluation skills.
