Abstract

Since IT companies recruit in large numbers, recruiters in these companies always keep looking for solutions, which can save them time and cost effort; these companies always keep looking for solutions, which can save them time and cost effort; while at the same time provide them with the best talent. The findings of the research show that online recruitment is an important part of the recruitment strategy for a number of the IT companies surveyed. E-recruitment is integration and utilization of Internet technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment process. E-recruitment provides HR and recruiters with the tools technology and the capacity to deliver time and cost-effective resourcing. In the next coming years, online recruitment and hiring new candidate is continued their explosion and growth. Presently, e-recruitment has been adopted in many organizations like large organizations as well as in small size companies. Even most organizations are already using e-recruitment to post jobs and accept resumes on the Internet, and correspond with the applicants by e-mail. In this article, there will be an introduction on e-recruitment and its development process. There will also be a discussion on the various advantages and disadvantages of e-recruitment practice broadly taken from various literatures.
