Abstract

In today's world where information in available at the click of a finger, students have become more aware and resourceful than teachers in many areas. Availability of ample leisure time and gadgets enables the learner of today to have access to certain immoral and above-age information. The increasing aspiration explosion among youth, and their love for self created world has compelled the educationists to think beyond the existing curriculum and devise some psychosocial contexts where the child/youth can be provided constructive knowledge for diverting their pent up energies and emotions to a world of optimism. Recent incidents of Stabbing of a School Teacher in Delhi by the students, the Learner-centered education which created a bold situation for the students and has diluted that respect quotient for teachers has been of deep concern for the educationists. In the present paper Authors have enumerated various aspects of Psychosocial environment, the reasons of its emergence and the gravity of the Psychosocial environment that need to be addressed immediately.
