Abstract

The present study has been taken up with a view in mind that the importance of different jobs in the present competition. Occupation is not only a mean of earning livelihood but also a way of life. Presently the study is helpful for students in the selection of jobs, selection of right jobs in particular that suit their activities and interest. Knowledge of their proper vocational interest will help them choose the occupation/profession of their liking where the chances of being successful are very high. The study has its implications not only for the Senior Secondary students but for everyone who is a part of this. Attention to Vocational Interest is still due and it is time to commit every living being of this world to look after it with all possible means. Schools, learning institutions, colleges etc are the best places to imbibe this awareness about vocational interests among individuals. The study is an effort to assess the interests of Senior Secondary students and at the same time promoting their awareness about the vocational interest dimensions of sustainable human deviation. The study aims at helping senior secondary students to select their profession as per their interest and excel in that which is beneficial for the society and the country as a whole. It is necessary for the students to fix their goal or their vocation according to their interest.
