Abstract

This paper focus on design and develop of a cloud based face recognition using parallisation PCA algorithm. Face recognition is the biometric application which is been used for identifying the person face with the aid of face recognition algorithm. Face recognition application holds a set of images which are called databases stored by the user. With the help of the stored database, face recognition algorithm tries to find the matches with the database and publishes the result. Through the cloud environment, database can be stored in the cloud environment so as to achieve huge data storage area. To design and develop a parallel Principle Component Analysis (PCA) face recognition algorithm has been deployed in the cloud server for performing PCA by request of user. It matches the image on the cloud server and give response back to the user in the less amount of time and with reduced latency. The developed Parallel PCA face recognition algorithm has minimize the overall response time for the face recognition algorithm.
