The concept of working from anywhere is an emerging topic, especially during Covid-19. Very limited research is being carried out in the context of Indian IT industries. The present study is an initiative to understand the opinion of respondents about the work from anywhere (WFA) in the IT sector in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The present study is restricted to the employees working in TCS, Infosys, Tech-Mahindra, and Mind-tree only and it includes both male and female employees working at four levels. Such as lower-level, middle-level, and higher-level employees of the companies under the study. The present study is focused on the perspectives employers and employee both. It includes nine variables related to the employer and the other nine are related to the employee. Rummel (1970), and Schwab (1980) recommend a ratio of 1:4 to 1:10 for calculating the sample size. A minimum sample size is equal to four times the number of items; maximum sample size is equal to ten times the number of items. Based on 18 items taken for the study, 68 items and 180 items should be the minimum and maximum sample sizes respectively. Therefore, 163 sample sizes were included in the current study. The present study concludes that WFA led to more productivity, better work-life balance, better opportunity for the employees, flexibility, and freedom in working hours in addition to others. At the same time, the employers also benefited from these WFA initiatives.
