The Indian Service Sector is playing a very significant role in the expansion and economic growth of the Indian economy. For the sustainable growth and development of any industry, the organizational policy and employees play a very significant role. This paper’s main objective is to explore the determinants of employee happiness at the workplace in the Indian Service Sector. This paper is based on the available literature review of published evidence, which provides a review of the determinants of employee happiness at the workplace. This literature review provides an overview of how organizational commitment, employee engagement, and job satisfaction are interconnected and contribute to happiness at work, with the help of framed propositions based on the determinants of happiness at the workplace in the service sector. Future research may explore the longitudinal effects of these determinants and examine sector-specific variations in employee happiness. It has been found that the comprehensive nature of happiness is mainly influenced by employee engagement, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, support, etc. Besides this, future research may also investigate the impact of each construct on happiness, well-being, and job performance in different industries.
