The discussion of the international dimensions of the business landscape of Taiwan focuses on its leadership stature in the areas of manufacturing and exporting various technologies, including the semiconductor industry in the spotlight. The study explores factors like socio-political stability, a quality workforce, economic resilience, as well as digital technology capabilities, resources, and infrastructure, which contribute positively to Taiwan’s recognition as a low-risk destination for global investors. It further critiques the threats that Taiwan poses internationally and concludes that the continued success of Taiwan will depend on its responsiveness to manage issues pertaining to cybersecurity and challenges in the wake of global competitiveness and innovations.
