Abstract

This study focuses upon strategic international expansion and operational stabilization planning for Paccari Chocolate (Paccari). Paccari was founded in 2002, as a private family-owned chocolate company by Santiago Peralta and Carla Barboto in Quito, Ecuador. Its success is well recognized as a winner of over 300 international awards, including being named “World’s Best Chocolate” several times. However, its founders must identify and analyze alternatives for sustaining the company’s premium quality products and ethically growing the company to make Paccari a more important player in the global chocolate industry.
