Abstract

Today's globally competitive market calls for trained professionals who know how to make the right decisions, delegate work and most importantly, coordinate with the relevant people in the organization. Given the effects of globalization, the employment market in India demands well-trained business and finance professionals who can contribute significantly to the country's growing economy. And various management courses through management education imbibe these skills in students while training them in making strategic choices. Keeping this into consideration this study has been conducted which gives an overview of the various challenges and opportunities that management education is facing in today's context and also recommends some innovative methods and ideas to make it more attractive and effective in dealing with the new trends of our society.
