India is one among the big economies in the world but mere size does not prove anything. If we analyze the quality of development in India, we can simply conclude that India is not going to become any super power. India has highest number of poor, illiterates in the world and at the same time has largest number of people who defecate in the open. India's per capita income and human development is lowest in the world. Developments can be measured in terms of quality and not in terms of quantity. India cannot become an economic super power unless improving the quality of its large human resource.
