Abstract

Education institutes are considered as builders of society. Education institutes gifts society with young talent to take up the challenges of future and shape the future of nation. Faculties are the only contact point available to students in colleges, hence their behaviour has a very long lasting effect on students life at college. It also influences the way in which students behave in master degree also. The present research paper aims at discovering the perceptions of undergraduate students regarding the ethical behaviour of faculties and institutes in which they are studying. The study will also find out the level of satisfaction of students with respect to various facilities provided by institutes. In the present research, survey of 100 undergraduates had been undertaken with structured questionnaire, out of which 79 fully filled questionnaires are used for data analysis. The study revealed that student's perceptions regarding ethical behaviour of faculty are not good and not too bad also. The study also identified relationship between ethical behaviour of faculty and recommendation of institute to others for further study. Furthermore, there are considerable differences in the perceptions of students regarding satisfaction of students with respect to facilities provided by institutes. Techniques like ANOVA, Chi square and other statistical techniques are used for analysis of data gathered by researcher.
