Abstract

As several research is going on to find out a new feature extraction technique to classify image in a better way using image binarization for a content based image classification. This paper extracts another feature extraction by using mean threshold selection technique. A block truncation coding (BTC) based technique for RGB color space, using even image part for feature vector extraction is used. The proposed method has shown the better classification performance on factors like misclassification rate (MR) and F1 score.
