Mitigating cloud security challenges with intrusion detection technique

Cloud computing is adopted due to reduction in cost and dynamic resource allocation. It has various characteristics like scalability, elasticity, multi-tenancy, pay-per-use approach make cloud computing the popular paradigm today. It is adopted by various organizations and by governments nowadays. Despite the potential gains achieved from the cloud computing, the organizations are slow in accepting it due to its security issues and challenges associated with it. This paper focused on the major challenges that prevent Cloud Computing from being adopted by the organizations. We also extend our work to various types of intrusion and intrusion detection techniques.
