In the event of the competitive business scenario mergers and acquisitions are becoming the most complex necessary events in organizational life which needs much more understanding in to the different insights of the process. However the earlier researches have not taken a holistic understanding of the HR practices and in particular the involvement of Human Capital in the process. The authors in this paper made and attempt to address the integration of HR practices into the overall process of mergers and acquisitions in two ways: (1) the integration of HR practices as an essential measure of the success in mergers and acquisitions; (2) the involvement of human capital for the success of the post merger challenges. In light of the above, the aim of this paper is to explore and understand the holistic role played by the HR function to involve the human capital in the success of cross-border M&As.
