Abstract

In India the Small scale sector is a very important sector. It contributes significantly to India's GDP and export earnings besides providing employment opportunities to millions of people across the country. The main purpose of the study is to analyze the corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities carried out by MSMEs. The study shows that though the Indian MSMEs are making efforts in the CSR areas but still there is a requirement of more emphasis on CSR. There are some SMEs which are not even meeting the regulatory requirements. This research paper try to analyze the study of CSR status in India, this can give imminent to what extent companies can follow the CSR. MSMEs those are following CSR practices would be helpful for both economic and social interest .Here researchers are trying to find out what would be innovative majors should be adopted so that CSR practices and performance can be improved.
