Abstract

The paper examines Impact of Wages on Job satisfaction of Employees at Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust, Dehradun. Nonmedical employees which were divided into two groups i.e. skilled and semi-skilled were selected for the study. A total of 300 employees, out of which 150 skilled (80 males & 70 females) and 150 semi-skilled (70 males & 80 females) have been taken for the study. The result of the study shows that whenever the employees are given medical aid, bonus and perks, job security, work environment, training and education, job rotation, fair rewards, promptness in solving employees problems, healthy relationship between co-workers and management they feel motivated and their level of satisfaction is high.
