A study on customer satisfaction in electronic shop: A reference to Vellore city

Abstract

A customer may also be a viewer of the product or service that is being sold despite deciding not to buy them the slogans. "The Customer is King" or "The Customer is God" or "The Customer is Always Right" indicates the importance of customers to business. Changing customer's lifestyles and the competitive environment has made the customers’ expectations grow high. The data have been collected from 50 respondents using a questionnaire. Convenience sampling method has been adopted to collect the data collection. These respondents are the customers who visit "Darling Electronics" for purchasing electronic products. When customer satisfaction is high, there is a high probability that in future they will use the services again and encourage their friend and relative to visit shops and use their services. The Darling electronics should, therefore, regularly measure service quality to acknowledge customer 'satisfaction standard and hence make necessary adjustment in performance. The result shows that service quality is one of the determinants of satisfaction. This study presents a frame work or set of ideas for using customer satisfaction principles and strategies to improve the quality service to customers’ responsiveness.
