The study is been focused on role played by rural women in India in taking initiation for entrepreneurial role. The study is based on secondary data. Women entrepreneurship is gaining prominence in the wake of globalization and economic liberalization. Entrepreneurial development among rural women helps to enhance their person capabilities and also helps in decision-making status, improvement in her financial status and respect from the society.
