Abstract

The present paper deals with the chi-square test and ANOVA with the primary data collected from the small jewellery merchants in Cuddalore District. The analyses have been done on the taluks wise small gold jewellery business people identified for the study. The researcher has identified the respondents scattered from the selected area popularly selling clusters in the specified taluks. The researcher employed research assistants in the field work; the field assistants were involved in a special training provided by the researcher, research supervisor, statistician, and Small Jewellers. The researcher adopted survey method to collect the data from the 256 population.
