A study of quality of work life: Perception of school teachers in Pimpri- Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) area

Teachers play a significant role in our life or in our society they mold and nourish the child in such a manner so that they can make their future better. so, teaching is highly Nobel profession as it helps to build the foundation. The success of any school or educational system depends upon the teachers. The strength and quality of any educational system depends upon the teacher's work. This study centered on the investigation of perception of teachers’. The study determines the expressed teachers’ job performance. The objective of the study is to study the relationship between quality of work life and employee performance and to study the perception of employees about the working condition of the organisation. The study was guided by the research question, i.e. what is the expressed job performance level of teachers at secondary school level ? The study was delimited to PCMC area of Pune. The data was collected through a questionnaire developed by the researcher. The collected data was analyzed using Mean, Standard Deviation to provide answers to the research questions.
