Abstract

Financial performance is the most important measure to understand financial health of any organisation. The survival, success and growth of an industry depend in its financial performance. Thus for any industry it is occupying the pivotal position in general and sugar industry in particular. In the recent year the sugar industry is facing a lot of problem to survive and grow in the changing economic scenario. The present study is under taken to appraise the problems of raising profit especially for reserve accumulation, secured loan, fixed asset creation, indirect income generation, net interest earned and depreciation accumulation. So companies must scientifically manage the cost of direct expenditure towards the production by using more yielding devices and applying of scientific process in the production. Thus an initiative is undertaken to appraise the financial health of the sample company.
