Research shows that prospective employers recruit candidates who communicate well in English. In a LinkedIn survey, 90% of HR Directors, CEOs and CMOs responded that recruitment of English-speaking employees is beneficial to their business. Today with emergence of many Engineering & Management Institutions across the nation, every year several Engineering and Management graduates surface in job markets. However, majority of the graduates fail to secure employment in reputed firms due to lack of employability and communication skills. Research Survey in many of the engineering institutions of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, indicate that the placement rate of students is poor and is attributed to lack of English communication skills. Alarming fact is that only 10% of the final year engineering students are eligible for employment satisfying the employer's criteria. Hence, there is a great need to work on English language acquisition and propose a feasible methodology for Telugu speaking students for English language acquisition & learning for their better employability. This paper will bring insightful methodology for Telugu speaking students for acquiring English language for better employability.
