Anger is way of showing our depressions, tensions and frustrations. On the other hand, recent studies categorized anger as an adaptive mechanism for dealing with hindered goals and perceived threats (Cox et al., 1999). Generally anger may be caused by internal factors, such as irrational thoughts and beliefs and feelings of failure or external factors such as barratry, being ignored etc. Regarding the negative effects of social and individual anger, control of anger is important. Our management and anger control interventions, reduce the emotional feelings and the physiological arousal of anger, Increase awareness and education about anger practices and effective strategies to control it. Young students are confronted with totally new circumstances in which sustenance of values has become a challenge. Thus, PG students should be well aware of their own emotions. They should know how to handle anger, understand anger generating situations understand emotions of others and develop empathy. The main objective of this research is to study the level of anger among postgraduate students. For the study sample of 125 postgraduate students were selected. From which 46 male and 79 female postgraduate were taken. To know the level of anger of postgraduate students investigators were used online (www.fabsol.co.za) available Anger Management Self -Assessment Questionnaire (FABSOL, 2007). The questionnaire consisted of 25 statements. The subjects were asked to mark their opinion in true of false. Result shows that male postgraduate students are more seriously prone to anger in comparison to female postgraduate students. Male postgraduate students fall in the average category of anger. But the percentage of female postgraduate students is higher in average category of anger. 78.26% male students had reached the danger level whereas 70.89% of female students are at dangerous level.
