Abstract

Business, data and information technology have now become synonymous with each other. Business like speed has also become a major focus area. All these can only be brought to a single one-point platform using IT services. Complexities of business and ease of doing business also must go hand in hand. How do we balance both. This can be achieved only by creating a new IT platform where all of them can be synchronized and this will go a long way in increasing shareholder wealth. Marketing automation enables, streamlines and identifies the core functioning of marketing activities. Generating leads, following up and finalizing leads are the most important areas of concern in the field of marketing. Marketing automation tools contributes a lot to the business processes. The help in, simplifying the otherwise difficult marketing activities, driving sales, tracking performance of sales personnel, helps to identify loopholes, keeps a track on the visitors to the site, lead generation etc. Marketing automation makes one feel about the ease of doing business. This ease of doing business is felt after the introduction of marketing automation software tools in the organization. It helps to create an automated environment. Revenue maximization is important, but at the same time one should also look at the other factors governing the market. Changes take place and we should also incorporate changes into our policies and new initiatives. Change is the basic law of nature and it is said that only one thing is constant in the world and that is change. So in order to reach at an objective oriented decision making, one needs to analyse the mathematical, statistical and computational results arrived at. Marketing automation leads to lower wastage of time and simplifies certain processes. It helps the marketing professionals to improve sales and effectively deal with lead management. SMS can be sent to customers in case of service/industries/finance/insurance about their renewal or servicing dates. This leads to customer satisfaction and improves revenue and sales targets too.
