Abstract

Robotics Technology is one field which is expanding leaps and bounds. It has taken a big shape in the developed countries in every walk of life, thanks to the growing scope of computers, electronics and mechanical engineering. However, in developing countries like India, the expansion remained uneven wherein few sectors like electronics and telecommunication etc. have witnessed a fair amount of the use of artificial intelligence, whereas the medicine and healthcare sectors are still in the laggards. Present study has attempted to find out the awareness and receptivity of robotics technology in clinical practice in the Tri-city (Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali) alongwith the reasons which prohibit the use of artificial intelligence in the medical sector.
