Abstract

Brick Industry is one of booming with the expansion of real estate business. This study is to identify the relationship among the socio demographic variables and to investigate the attitudes of owner and executive staff toward corporate social responsibility and business ethics of the brick field industries in Manipur. A total of 103 completed questionnaires were randomly collected from the industries. This paper tried to empirically understand the owner and executive staff relationship through primary data and statistical techniques were used to analyze and interpret the tabulated data such as mean percentage, standard deviation, chi-square test, correlation analysis and t test. Scale reliability test was also used to measure the variables. The data was administered using SPSS English Version 21.0 for analysis. The results suggest that both owner and executive staff have a good attitude towards business ethics and corporate social responsibility. In addition, the studyreveal that there were no significant differences in the attitudes toward corporate social responsibility and business ethics of owner and executive staff.
