An analysis of bibliometric study of ph.d. thesis in geography in the central library at Rajiv Gandhi University Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, India

Bibliometric studies have been used to study various characteristics of subject literature, both literature cited and literature provided by the researchers. The present studies the bibliometric study of geography literature Ph.D. thesis submitted by the students for the award of Doctor of Philosophy at Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, India between 1997 to 2017. In these studies, various characteristics of subject literature cited and literature provides by the researchers. In this study year wise distribution of thesis, length of the thesis, total number of chapters, authorship patterns, and also ranking of most productive guide of Rajiv Gandhi University reference used in thesis. This study highlights the, finding and suggestions.
