It has gone global, resulting in widespread panic, and the pandemic has already spread to about 195 countries. Although micro, small, and medium-sized firms are particularly at risk to covid-19. Owing to their complexity, size, diverse activities, and a scarcity of financial management competence, they are incredibly resistant to change because of their distrust of the unknown. The main goal of this article is to identify the many problems that MSMEs face and to analyze the many programmes that India’s finance minister, in his latest policy effort, has proposed to help them. A framework for reviving micro and small and medium-sized enterprises is also presented as part of the study. Government, private industry, and civil society must all work together to resolve the root causes of the COVID-19.
