Sustainable development is a move that takes into consideration environmental impacts along with economic development. The objective of developing sustainably is to improve the lives of humankind and to extenuate the harmful effects of change in climate. World over people are paying an enormous price for climate change. UNICEF estimates that one billion children- almost half of all kind on Earth- are at ‘extremely high risk’ to climate impacts. Green marketing is the shift of marketing strategies onto an eco-friendly format. Manufacturers all over the world have started making difference in initiating and developing eco-friendly products and services. Consequently, manufacturing organisations have started to transform themselves in an attempt to address these concerns of the social order. Solar energy and Solar products have helped a huge number of people in the villages of our country by addressing their day-to-day cooking and lighting needs. Solar Mission of India is a key programme of our Central Government and cooperation from States to encourage environmentally sustainable expansion in addition to meeting challenges of climate. This research is focussed to trace out customer’s desired level of expectation with regard to Solar Product and Solar Energy and comprehend how green marketing initiatives will be effective.
