A review on franchisee operation and performance measures in power utilities

Aim: The paper focuses a detail review of operation and performance of franchisee systems and research related issues. Design/Methodology/Approach: The topics have been collected from the different journals/publication/articles contributing significantly to the franchisee performance activities in the power utility sector with review and various issues involved. Findings: The research articles aim at literature review in franchisee operation and address the various issues relating to billing, collection, AT & C Loss occurred the utility sector. Research implications/Limitations: The paper reviews the franchisee performance measures and its implication in the central power utility sector in the state of Odisha. Originality/Values: The article evaluation of five key articles reported relating to franchisee measurement and performance and provides research opportunities in the state.
