Rural Development is an important concept in Indian Socio-Economic Development. Rural Development bristles with many social and economic planning and problems. The concept is wide and requires several integrated rural development and programmes and policies of State and Central Government. However Rural Development needs appropriate sectoral and spatial aspects such as financial allocations and micro level planning. Though rural development studies poverty and unemployment and their removal and at implementation level proper steps are to be taken to resolve social and economic challenges such as decentralization and micro level planning of Indian Economy.
