Abstract

Indian National Movement was one of the largest mass movements in the World. In this movement Indian Women played a seminal role. Before, the Sepoy Mutiny Indian women bravely fought against the aggregation of East India Company. But with the launching of Gandhian mass Movement, Indian women went out of kitchen and participated in the movement in an imposing scale. The Non-Cooperation movement, the Civil Disobedient Movement and the Quit India movement became a spectacular success due to popular participation of women
