A Study on Employees' Attitude towards Training Design and Delivery at Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, India

Abstract

Imparting training is an investment in the talent force of an organization and it is due to this notion that organizations believe and participate before and behind in spending millions of rupees on its training and development activities. These-a-days, only delivering training is not enough but the attitude of the employees towards it should also be gauged. Keeping this into consideration, the present article gives insights on the attitude of employees towards training design and delivery at one of the top most prestigious hotel namely, Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi in India. A random sample of 58 employees have been taken from various departments including Front Office Department, Food & Beverage, IT, Sales & Marketing. The result depicts that by and large, attitude of the employees is positive towards the training design and delivery programs with the factor, "Trainers follow up and give feedback after training" having the highest ranking.
