Abstract

In the present scenario Quality of work life (QWL) is acquiring more eminence in every organisation. Quality of work life (QWL) focuses at complete welfare of the employees who are working in the organisation rather than just sharpening on aspect of work. Organisation should focus on the well-being of the employees. Employees always attracted by the place where she/he will get a high quality of work life. It always benefits the organisation in terms of loyalty of employees, fame of the organisation, and productivity. A good quality of work life (QWL) is required for each and every organization to satisfy their employees, which ultimately helps the organisation to achieve its mission and vision. Quality of work Life (QWL) always considered organisations as well as employees. The aim of the study is to give an over view of various determinants of Quality of work life (QWL) such as; Job satisfaction, job involvement, job security and work place environment and suggested some strategies to improve Quality of Work Life (QWL). Each factor is having direct and indirect impact on quality of work life (QWL). This study is based on the basis of collected data from secondary sources viz. books, journals, articles and internet, etc.
