Abstract

This study investigates the impact of skill-training initiatives on tribal youths’ career prospects and standard of living. The general well-being of tribal youth is affected by their restricted access to employment opportunities and educational facilities, as they are frequently marginalized and confront socioeconomic difficulties. Various programs for skill development have been suggested as a way to close this gap by providing young people with the means to improve their livelihoods, increase their income, and find good work. The study looks into the way how several skill-training programs, such as digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and vocational skills, impact tribal youth’s capacity to find steady work or launch their own businesses. Using a mixed-method approach, the study integrates qualitative and quantitative data collected from tribal youth who have participated in skill-development initiatives. According to preliminary results, skill training greatly influences employment prospects; many youth entrepreneurs go on to launch small enterprises or find jobs in nearby industries. The participants often mention improvements in their general quality of life, living circumstances, and financial freedom. However, issues like the sustainability of jobs, cultural hurdles, and access to training facilities continue to be major problems. The study emphasizes the necessity of culturally aware and context-specific skill training programs, in addition to long-term support systems to guarantee tribal youth sustained employment success. The results provide insightful suggestions for organizations that are aiming to improve the socioeconomic standing of tribal youth.
